Face Coverings

Please wear your face covering when you visit. Visit the Government website for more on face coverings. Exemptions: children under 11 and those with disabilities or certain health conditions, such as respiratory or cognitive impairments that make it difficult for them to wear a face covering.

We are encouraging our visiters to download the NHS Track and Trace app. The service will help identify, contain, and control coronavirus, reduce the spread of the virus and save lives. Download the app here.

In line with the latest Government guidance on social distancing, we ask that you please observe the following measures during your visit to Monks Cross:

  • Maintain a distance of at least 2 metres from anyone
  • Do not shake hands
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue if you cough or sneeze (or use your sleeve)
  • Observe the social distancing visual cues and signage throughout Monks Cross
  • Be mindful of and respectful to our staff and customers at all times

RULE OF 6
From Monday 14 September when meeting friends and family you do not live with you must not meet in a group of more than 6, indoors or outdoors. Visit the Government website for more info.

We have also increased cleaning and all touch points within Monks Cross to ensure the safety of staff and visitors to Monks Cross. Our children’s play area and toilets remain closed at this point, but this will be reviewed inline with government guidance weekly. Access to disabled toilet and baby changing facilities can be gained from the Information Centre.

The toilets are open on a limited basis (not as many toilets available for use as normal) and a social distancing queuing system is in place as well as an increased cleaning regime to ensure staff and customers remain safe.

For those travelling by car please note that the car park adjacent to Primark will be temporarily closed & the First York 9,12 & 14 service will now only stop at Asda.

Any further updates will be posted on our social media pages and website.
