Great British Button Challenge at Hobbycraft!

Spread the news… The Great British Button Challenge is here! 1 in 5 people in the UK can’t sew on a button – we want to change that! From 21 May – 20 July 2018, Hobbycraft will be giving out free Great British Button Challenge packs to schools, and encouraging Britain’s teachers to bring sewing back into the classroom. The packs contain a free bag of buttons, stickers and a how-to guide, and we’re also providing creative ideas and inspiration for simple makes using buttons that are linked to school topics and educational objectives. Teachers, parents and pupils can share photos of their button makes to win fantastic prizes, including a Creative Classroom bundle worth over £150. Teachers and teaching assistants simply need to pop into their local Hobbycraft store to collect the packs*. To find out more, visit: www.hobbycraft.co.uk/buttonchallenge

The campaign will be endorsed and promoted by former Blue Peter presenter and crafting champion Janet Ellis.

*Full packs available while stocks last. Teachers are to show ID before giving out the packs. Teachers can collect up to a maximum of

3 packs on behalf of their colleagues.
